I LOVE tapestries because not only do they look amazing, you can also easily fold them up and pack them in your suitcase as your move around the world.
It’s hard if you’re moving often and can’t always make your home feel homey. Tapestries can add a nice touch of style on your walls that can make the ever changing place you call home ACTUALLY feel like home.
Here are 10 tapestries that I’m currently obsessed with. With these tapestries you’ll be booking the next one way flight to the world.
Also, four of these tapestries are made by DENY Designs for Urban Outfitters, which is a really cool collection that are made by talented artists in the USA.
This is for all of you who are craving a calm life at the beach. It reminds me of a sunrise I was recently lucky enough to experience on the Caribbean coast. I think the trim adds a really pop of color to the hues of the ocean and sky.
ASSEMBLY HOME LAYERED LANDS TAPESTRY –
How fun is this? It makes me want to go New Mexico. The colors are so vibrant and I really like the style of it. This is perfect for all of you who are wonderlusting after dry heat and dessert peaks. Plus, it’s on sale for only $29!
I like that this tapestry is not filled with lots of different colors. I’m a bit obsessed with everything matching and often have a difficult time buying any type of wall art for that reason. With this tapestry I wouldn’t have to worry about it matching my turquoise colored bedding.
How cute are all the different fabrics on this world map? I can’t really decide if I like the whole “world map as a focal decorating point” trend, but I do like this one! Each fabric is so amazingly beautiful and unique. Plus, this would be a great statement piece on a living room wall.
Peaks Your Interest Tapestry – $69.99
This is perfect for all of you that wish to live in a secret cabin in the woods somewhere. I picture this tapestry hanging next to a crackling fireplace with comfy chairs and wool blankets. It’s very Twin Peaks-ish.
I want this tapestry so badly! This would be perfect for a beach cottage styled home, or anyone wonderlusting after the beach lifestyle. Which let’s be real, everyone wants to feel like they are always at the beach.
How badly do you want to be sitting on one of those little stone covered beaches in this tapestry? This makes me long for the sound of light crashing waves and a slight breeze. I can imagine sitting on one of those beaches with a blanket around my shoulders, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature.
I’m usually not a fan of anything with the Eiffel Tower on it because I dislike that it is constantly used as a symbol of Europe. There are so many other beautiful cities and landmarks that should be represented more often, but I actually really like this tapestry. It shows Paris without making the Eiffel Tower the main focus. Plus, I love the setting sun and all the lights. This tapestry represents Paris the way it should be shown, as a majestic city.
