Costa Rica

It’s been awhile guys and I’m soo sorry about that, but I bet you’ve noticed all the great changes going on over here. Yeap, I’ve officially created a page for every single country you could think about living in (and it took me forevvverrrrr). Now I have to start filling them with great info, which is where you come in….
So here’s my Friday Fave list including me asking for some favors (that will help you out too)!

1. Calling All Expat Bloggers
I’m currently creating a directory of awesome expat blogs, and if you’re an expat blogger you should definitely be a part of it. I’m a bit picky though (OK really picky) because I only want to give you guys the best of the best, so check out my qualifications here and write to me if you think you’d be a good addition to the directory. We are also looking for writers and people to complete the expat interview which you can also read about here.
Currently, I’m not in a position to pay you (but hopefully that will change soon) BUT I appreciate all writers and will promote the hell outta your blog on my social media networks. I’m kinda obsessive about building long-term working relationships.

2. The Wanderlanders E-book
Yeap, you read that right. I’m working on an e-book, well two actually, but let’s just focus on one for now. I shared a pic yesterday of part of the table of contents on The Wanderlanders Twitter page, so, if you’re not following us there, go check it out now.
My goal with this first e-book is to provide you with all the information you could ever want about planning your move abroad. It’s jam packed with really great info and includes lots of fun anecdotes from my own experiences. I think you guys will really enjoy it and get a lot out of it.
I’m kind of juggling a lot of hats at the moment (but that’s secretly my favorite way to work) so I was originally hoping to get it out to you all by early December, but now I’m aiming for early January so, we’ll see how that goes. 🙂

3. The Election
Hey guys and girls, the US has a new president and it’s crazzzzinesssss! I wrote an article for Huffington Post yesterday about how Trump’s presidency will affect US expats. It hasn’t gone up yet, but as soon as it does I’ll post a link here for you. Check it out and let me know what you think. Also, I’d love to hear all of your opinions on this unexpected election outcome.

K, have a good weekend everyone! I hope you’re all doing something fun and it’s not too too cold wherever you are. I’m learning to make tamales this weekend. It is considered a traditional Christmas food here in Costa Rica and I think it’s always nice to get as much of an education about different cultures as possible (and plus I’m always up for cooking and eating.)

  1. Looking forward to your HP article, and YES, craziness, indeed.

Sounds like you’ve been busy. It’s always nice to ride those waves of inspiration before they peter out. I have a hard time staying motivated but it looks like with you expat list, you’ll have plenty of people to keep you accountable.

All the best on your new ventures and adventures!
